The receptionists are the first point of communication for any enquiries. They arrange appointments for the doctors and deal with enquiries from all outside agencies. They prepare and distribute repeat prescriptions and deal with all general enquiries. The staff are trained to take essential details sympathetically and in complete confidence.
Our attached midwife provides antenatal and postnatal care with the doctors. Clinics are held at Centre during the course of the week. Please contact the Practice for details.
The local District Nursing team works with the Practice and are involved in the care of patients who are housebound and unable to attend the surgery, but need nursing input in the community. The majority of their workload is the chronic disease management, the terminally ill and patients who have recently been discharged from hospital. If you feel that you might need their involvement please ring them direct or speak to your GP.
A team of Health Visitors and School Nurses can provide expert advice for families with young and school age children.
